As we change our calendars and set intentions for the season to come, many of us look forward to starting new adventures, including trying tai chi for the first time or learning a new form. The first steps into uncharted territory can be daunting, though. It can be hard to know where to start and what to do, and that’s why every fresh start takes COURAGE…and ENCOURAGEMENT.

We here at Blue Dragon Tai Chi are always here to encourage you to do your best to take care of your physical, mental, and spiritual health. And now, we’re practicing our courage by setting out into new waters with you! This month, we’re launching our online membership portal, where you and your loved ones can learn and practice tai chi in new ways, including:
Prerecorded practice videos, perfect for supplementing in-person lessons or while traveling;
Livestreamed classes (coming soon), where you can interact with instructors and students from anywhere; and
Online-exclusive lessons, both recorded and live, to challenge yourself with new forms.
This new online membership is our way of offering high-quality, health-focused tai chi instruction to people of all skill and ability levels all over the globe. It’s a great way to get started with tai chi, build skill if you’ve already started, keep practicing between Tai Chi in the Park classes, or simply try a more meditative, less martial approach to the art. It’s also a great gift for anyone who lives far from an in-person instructor but wants to play tai chi, too!
Our annual and monthly memberships are completely self-managed, so you can join, pause, discontinue, and rejoin any time. So sign up today or spread the word to someone you care about – it’s never too late to unwrap the gift of good health.

TAI CHI IN THE PARK STARTS FRESH!
Speaking of Tai Chi in the Park, did you know that each year, participants start a new form? That means January is the perfect time to join us at your nearest park for free lessons as everyone begins at the beginning:
Evelyn’s Park, Tuesdays at 9 am
Camden Park Westchase, Tuesdays at 6 pm
Levy Park, Thursdays at 6 pm and Fridays at 9 am
*Camden Park starts in March 2026
